After using this great little program, I have a few other comments - apologies if they overlap Greg's. For a visual observer, it would be useful to solve for when the plane is "convenient" i.e. many of the solutions are based on maximum brightness, which is often near zenith and difficult to observe.  If the user could select a zone of elevations (and pick which direction, east or west of zenith), that would help. A shorter total span would be useful, and the same comment on prior to ingress / post egress allowance.

I haven't tried Greg's batch file idea yet - seems intriguing. With the "oldset" code Mike wrote, you can pull out elsets of a set age, then apply Cees' code to that set of objects. Of course all of this is easier if you are imaging, but I believe it could be adapted for visual use.
