Hi Brad, Mike, Mike informed me that I may have misunderstood your post, and it looks like I have. I had not realized that you were suggesting to convert the directions (azimuth/altitude or ra/dec) for the plane scan into a TLE that can be loaded by the software controlling your mount. The motion of the plane scan point you want to look at is very different from the motion of a satellite, so it will be very hard to convert those into a TLE that will yield useful results. Instead, I've just posted the first version of some software that will compute the plane scan directions given some information (see http://www.satobs.org/seesat/Feb-2016/0143.html). My suggestion would be to ask the software developers of the mounts that you are using to see if they can read a list of positions (ra/dec or azimuth/altitude) with specified times and use those to control the mount.
