Hi all, I think my last message on this subject was blocked because it contained an image. This Heavens-Above user witnessed a fireball in the sky as described below. Can anyone help with the identification? The photo certainly looked like some kind of atmospheric entry. From: Adrian Zielonka [mailto:adrian.s.z@btinternet.com] Sent: 21 February 2013 13:44 To: Chris.Peat@heavens-above.com Subject: UFO over Shapwick, Somerset, England. (Please reply to this) This contains a photo of the object. Dear Chris I am sending you a photo of what appears to be an object burning up in the atmosphere. It was caught on two different cameras in a photography group with starlings in the foreground. The photo was taken on Feb 6th at 17h 18m 30s UT (in relation to the Heavens Above ‘what time is it – which I work out from the timing of the camera) by Neil Lazenbury. It was visible for up to maybe a minute. It was in the WSW direction Could please tell me on the records you have whether it was a handmade satellite and which one or any other details? We look for ward to hearing your reply. Thank you Adrian Zielonka (Member of Crewkerne And District Astronomical Society) PS I do hope you can solve what the UFO is. _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
