HI folks: This morning is my THIRD *failed attempts at to see the FY 1C debris. The last two were with 25mm lens/watec902H2, moving to 100mm/watec902H2 saw nothing ( LM ( LM not deep enough and sky not that good). All the candidates were flagged as 5.5-6.6 mag range and theoretically some should be seen crossing the rather large FOV. The 3rd attempt is with 300mmf2.8 lens+mintron and another 25mm as field finder. I cranked up the integration to reach deeper magnitude and expect 'rod'-shaped satellite to move across the very small fov now ~ 1.5 degree+ but alas again saw nothing from the video walkman screen. So my next one will be C8+f3.3..prime focus+mintron. I am curious whether there were any other +ve sighting of these debris ( x1 i know of so far)and how many were detected using what setup? Is there a way to sort the debris entries into larger pieces how?
