    Allowing for errors in time and position, I have Molniya 3-27 (16939 ) at around that area of sky.
    
    It would be around 5:12 UTC.
    
    Molniya's do have short flash periods, like your object.
    
    It was around 10000 km away at the time, so possible naked eye flashes.
