Dear Friends, Has anyone studied the issue of solar vs lunar transits and which of the two has a tendency (if any) to be more frequent? During the past five years I have been in pursuit of these events and have encountered such events for one of our two celestial neighbours. I realize that both have the same apparent diameter and follow the ecliptic which would suggest an equal probability between them.
