Notes:
---------
(1) Purpose of the session was to try and evaluate a new lens. However
conditions were extremely poor due to very poor transparency and much
cloud which eventually forced me to close down - consequently the
lens has still to be evaluated. Image quality appears better than my
usual 145mm f/2.5 lens and field curvature is also less pronounced
at the edges. Magnitude wise I could only see to about magnitude +11
but all the satellites tracked looked somewhat fainter than what I
am used to so there is still hope magnitude wise.
(2) USA186 was unusually faint and appeared to be variable-something
I have not noticed before, however this may be due to the
transparency and /or thin cloud?
(3) Some satellites I should have seen I did not see.
(4) All in all a frustrating session which raised my blood pressure a
few points!
Cheers
Greg
