A wide view of the geostationary arc as seen from the UK is now available here http://mysite.freeserve.com/satcom_transits/geowide.jpg In total it shows 18 satellites between 13 and 28 degrees east.In addition it also illustrates how birds in the two main groups move over a two hour period. The image is made up of 2 x 10 second frames in each segment.The overall image is compressed , east to west to fit all the birds in.
