    I agree to some extent Kevin , and have personally found that locating in
    the correct position , down to a few metres certainly reduces errors.
    I have never actually witnessed a transit naked eye , as I'm always peering
    into a laptop screen.....but then I suppose , if we didnt record the event ,
    others , who have never seen a transit , wouldnt know what we were all
    raving about  :O)
