    Hi

Looking back at my recordings of STS 107 I see that for a period during day
3 Columbia was in a underside "down" attitude , contrary to the expected
payload bay down , tail first profile , which seems to be the norm .... and
was in fact commented on during one of the FDHs by the commander , when he
explained when answering email questions , that they were flying payload bay
towards the earth , tail first.

With the confirmation today that the orbiter was imaged from the ground to
ascertain tile damage , I wonder if it was during the 3rd day the initial
    imaging took place?

    Regards,

    john
