    That would have required them to having come to the conclusion that the ET
    debris has caused substantial damage, thus requiring imaging of the Shuttle
    in (on?) orbit so as to ease the investigation of an expected fatal
    re-entry. Frankly, I don't subscribe to such a scenario.
