Let the show begin I just confirmed that the geo sat's are flaring! Seeing as how bright the PAS 1R ( 26608 ) satellites was last year, I thought I try it again this year. Aiming my binoculars in the area of sky near ALP HYA and waiting for the correct time, I noticed a bright star slowly moving. Based on what I have observed, it appears it's the good old PAS 1R satellite. It is between Mag 6.4-7.2 , based on some stars in the area it passed. So I bagged my first geo sat flare of the year. Now to outside again to watch this sat .
