    I'm not sure about  XP but other windows platforms will do a screen capture
    when you push the frequently forgotten button, PrtSc/SysReq.
    On WinME machine, I push that button and it copies the screen to the
    clipboard (I use the DOS screen in full screen mode to make sure I get  only
    the DOS screen). Then I open Photoshop and paste the clipboard into a new
    file. Works like a champ with SkyMap's predictions, which is what I use it
    for. Thanks to Bjorn Gimle for reminding me about this long forgotten
