This one, the Long March CZ-3A Rk that launched DFH-3 2 (24799) also gave a very nice, easy one-power pass about 10 minutes before the meeting of the San Antonio Astronomical Association. A good group of us watched, but I didn't have my stopwatch going that time. Here's PPAS for the pass last night: 97- 21 B 02-02-14 01:30:00 EC 122.4 0.5 27 4.53 +2.0->inv Iridium 24 (97-082B, 25105) did some very bright flashes, but it's not clear what its flash period was -- 8 to 9 seconds, I guess (maybe more data later but have run out of steam for now). Observed from UT Austin campus, 30.286N, 97.739W, 150m.
