Hi Ron and List, I want to thank Ron Lee for his dedication in attempting to observe a satellite transit of the sun, and congratulate him on his success! If I'm not mistaken, he's only the second person (the first being Ron Dantowitz) to successfully, deliberately, observe a satellite transiting the sun. (In both cases, the satellite in question was ISS). As Ron has demonstrated, persistence and mobility are the key factors in successfully pulling off such a feat. Now, can it be repeated with a different (large) satellite?
