Hi Ed,

Regarding 2001 DO47, if you go to:

http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/dastcom.html

and enter "2001 DO47" in the search, you'll notice that the orbital elements
are very similar to the heliocentric elements for the earth -- a tipoff to
the
probable earthly origin.  Another suspicious object is 2000 SG344; don't
know if they ever conclusively proved that this is an old Apollo Saturn V
upper stage.  --Rob
