On another mailing list there was a message about a recently discovered near-earth object, 2001 DO47 (earlier called ss994). It was listed at the Minor Planet Center (observations and orbital elements): http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/mpec/K01/K01D28.html Another mailing-list message a day or so later reported that they had determined that it's the spacecraft WIND. Takes a pretty good scope to see it, at magnitude +16 and soon getting fainter. I haven't found any news site story about it yet, although I haven't searched hard for it again tonight.
