    Unfortunately, its altitude at this time is near 400 km and rising. When it
    rises at my location (also in So. Calif.) it is at 390 km and by the time it
    sets it will be up to 485 km. Perigee, and therefore decay, will occur in
    the southern hemisphere.
    
    The good news is that it will be sunlit during the pass you mentioned, so
    you should be able to watch it and check if it is on time, early, or late.
