Just seen the two go past, about 2° apart in "line-astern" formation. Dreadful conditions with broken low cloud and thin higher cloud. Venus was the only other object visible at all. Initially one object was much brighter than the other but as they neared the overhead they seemed to be about the same. Sorry - can't remember if first or second was brighter originally. Ed.
