As a novice observer, to date, Mir is the only major object I have not seen. I realize time is running out, so I have been faithfully checking Heavens-Above. My question is this; Am I correct in assuming that the long-term predictions should not be considered reliable? I suspect that the TLEs used by Heavens-Above are subject to significant changes in the immediate future. Many thanks and clear skies, C.H.Schmid 33.72N, 117.85W, app. 50 ft.
