Hi All, Wow! Just came in from watching a spectacular Space Shuttle fly-by from Torrance, CA. Magnitude peaked at at least -4. At the brightest part of the pass, I'd say it was a tad brighter than Venus. 11 minutes earlier, ISS was dim by comparison at -2.5 during a truly zenith flyby. (STS-98 culminated in the NW less than 60 degrees above the horizon). The altitude difference was quite noticeable, as reflected by the significantly faster angular rate of the Shuttle. --Rob ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
