    Dear list,

A while ago I mentioned a bit of aerospace debris that we found on the
beach at Cocoa Beach, Fla USA.

Several SeeSat-ers responded off-list with offers to help, pics on the
way to y'all next week. Meanwhile, does anybody on the list recognise
any of this info taken from the object:

    (inscribed inside a circle):
    GDSS
    62
    PQAR

    (inscribed inside a circle):
    FSI
    1

    27-77008-51 CHG A
    MFR32946 8/3/92

The object is structural, aluminum honeycomb core, fiber-reinforced
composite skin, stainless steel fasteners, and kind of shattered and
burnt. I was wondering if perhaps this was part of a sat or failed
launch vehicle? Just curious if anyone recognises any of the numbers.

Any clues will be appreciated. Thanks much!
