    Hi all,

The Delta 2 rocket carrying the 4 Globalstar spares lifted off at 21:24 UT.
Everything worked fined, except for the delay, and the second stage is now
in its cruise phase. Here is a new elset based on the 21:24 launch :

    GLOBALSTAR, 8 Feb 2000, 21:24 UT Launch
    1 99999P 0000XA 00040.66659834 -.00007082 00000-0 -33879-1 0 43
    2 99999 52.0194 354.9638 0011062 270.1993 53.4000 13.92500000 98

This half-hour delay will permit eastern Canada and northeastern US observers
to have a darker sky to watch for the depletion burn now scheduled at
23:15:53 UTC. It is to last 25 seconds.
