Globalstar Burn TRAJECTORY file for SKYMAP

    Using information posted here on SeeSat, I've constructed a SKYMAP (by Rob
    Matson) .TRJ file for the part of the orbit near the Evasive and Depletion
    Burns visible from the East Coast tonight.  You must be familiar with SKYMAP
    to use this file.  E-mail me for more info and I'll see if I can help.  With
    this information and SKYMAP, you can plot the burn location RELATIVE TO THE
    STARS for your own location, greatly facilitating photography set-up, etc.
    
    For this Launch, SET MAP TIME to 22:41UT to properly use this file, (assumes
    launch on time at 20:54 U.T.).  The trajectory file can be used in the
    future for "typical" GLOBALSTAR launches if you set the MAP TIME to LAUNCH
    TIME PLUS 1hour and 47minutes.
    
    Below the trajectory file is my test configuration file set up for
    MONTPELIER, VT (using U.T. time).  Data from this plot match very well with
    STSPlus and other tracking software.
