    Jan 31 pass of Mir was predicted 5:23 pm here (california  33.6245 
    -117.8514)  with no sighting.  at 5:58 pm saw -2 apparent magnitude 
    with same predicted path.  was Mir 25 min late?  i used heavens above

    Does anyone know if the Russian cargo ship launch to MIR has taken 
    place
