The latest elset for Mir: Mir 368 x 348 1 16609U 86017A 99033.62215070 -.00705684 00000-0 -60986-2 0 1783 2 16609 51.6621 313.1101 0015148 80.9915 279.1017 15.70324883740230 dramatically changes the prediction time for the visible passes this week again. The Znamya test over Quebec City on 4 February, 23:56 UTC (18:56 local) will be visible in the DC area and to the north. The entry into eclipse occurs at 18:57:30 due north at 14 deg above the horizon from this area. Since the mirror will be focused on Quebec City I'm not quite sure what to expect but it should be worth a look. For those in the area I'll keep an update of the plot of the pass at: http://members.aol.com/mir16609/mir4.jpg Cheers Don Gardner Homepage: http://hometown.aol.com/mir16609/ 76.8419 W, 39.1796 N, 34m ASL
