Weather today: Record high temperature for Feb, 74 deg!
Very windy. Mostly cloudy.
However, during brief breaks in clouds, I did get to see some bright flashes.

Nothing seen several minutes before 10 pm EST.
At 10 pm saw flashes to about mag 4 or a little brighter, using 20x80
binoculars.
Period about 9 seconds. Visible for a few minutes.
More clouds. 1027 pm - No flashes seen.

Unfortunately, due to the clouds, more accuracy was not possible.

I'll be at a Mensa meeting and won't be able to observe again till
Sunday at the earliest.
