I had initial troubles yesterday predicting the decaying Long March rocket I suspected, The current elset on Heavens-Above showed no future (or previous !) passes. It had a strange object name, but I saw nothing else that looked suspicious. Also the latest five elsets from SpaceTrack this morning showed nothing in HeavenSat ! But late afternoon here I got good H-A predictions, and you may have a chance to see it before decay ! Your pass was from NW, culminating 09:58:14 UT Dec.29 at 81° in the NE and 204 km altitude ! -------------------------------------------------------- Björn Gimle, COSPAR 5919 59.2617 N, 18.6169 E, 51 m Satellite observation formats described: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html --------------------------------------------------------- Den lör 29 dec. 2018 kl 12:15 skrev Mal Ninnes via Seesat-l < seesat-l_at_satobs.org>: > This evening I spotted what appeared to be a fast and bright satellite > out the window (easily naked eye through the window), on a NW to SE > track so I ran outside.
