Regarding bad TLE files. Since several months the bulk TLE file from
Space-Track often has
missing leading zeros in the Noradnumbers up to #10000.
For Sattools this means that the tracks are not displayed over the recorded
images.
Cees Bassa wrote a short command line that fixes the problem with the
missing leading zeros.
Only now and then an additional zero has to be added to the Norad# for
Vanguard 1; #5.
It is the only sat with 4 leading zeros in the catalog file.

Maybe the missing zeros causes (part of) the problems with Heavensat?
