Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
    frame integration.

Used with 145mm focal length f/2.8 lens, integrating for 96 frames
which is equivalent to a max exposure of 1.92 seconds per image,
but dependent on background sky level, so exposures range from a
fraction of a second to 1.92 sec maximum.

    Notes:
    ==========

    (1) Objective for the observing session was to do a plane scan for
USA 186 which was achieved - satellite running about 22 minutes late
        on current element set.

    (2) STTS1 R and STTS1 observed in strong twilight - few reference stars.

    (3) First half of plane scan had problems with thick bands of cirrus
        which fortunately cleared later.

    (4) Only a few close spaced points for USA 186 (#28888) as it cut across
corner of image frame. When system in "scan mode" cannot follow an
object once seen so positions limited to what seen as satellite crosses
        field of view.

    (5) IGS-1A seen by accident whilst looking for IGS-5A. Now two times I
have not seen the latter so guess this is the next plane scan. Same
applies to IGS-5R. Should be bright easy objects.

    (6) AMS-4 also seen by accident during the scan.

    Cheers
    Greg
