The Russian Rocket launch was observed in northern Finland on December
    2, 2008.
Most observations were made in aeroplanes.

The mysterious light phenomenon was visible in the eastern sky soon
    after 5.00 UTC.
First they saw a very bright foggy lights which were visible during
    several minutes (maybe 5 minutes).
That phenomenon left a luminous trail which was visible long time in
    morning.
Observations were made in Kajaani and near Oulu.

Cosmos 2446 military satellite was launched same time from Plesetsk
    Cosmodrome in Russia.
Our near location to Plesetsk cosmodrome and other Russian missile test
    areas will cause
    sometimes extraordinary light phenomena here.
