I only believe it when it actually clears the launch pad but NASA now says that Atlantis is scheduled for liftoff on 10-JAN-08. This would be good news for observers in the UK who might get a chance to see it 20 minutes after launch. If the launch were to take place at least two days later I would get a chance too for observations from Central Europe. (Actually I'm most likely to see nothing but clouds if things don't change. I'm amazed at all you folks who keep reporting sightings when clear skies seem to have become a distant memory for me!)
