Just an afterthought........... From all our obs it seems that if the P3/P4 radiator was the culprit re the increased brightness, then it should be possible to predict when a flare will occur. The radiator was until it started tracking , earth pointing. So , it should be at its brightest when the observer is directly between the sun ( below the horizon) and the station....... not necessarily when the complex is overhead. Can anyone come up with some figures ?
