Observations 19 Dec 2006:
--------------------------------
Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
frame integration.
Used with 50mmm focal length f/1.8 lens, integrating for 96 frames
which is equivalent to an exposure of 1.92 seconds per image.
Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude 33.94058 deg S,
Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa
Unknown - possibly USA 186?

Notes:
-------
(1) Tried another plane search for USA 186 and this is the only unknown
seen- the other satellites were all identified. This was a difficult
observation as the elevation was only 10 degrees and bright city lit
sky so was almost on limit of system- was quite easy in "real time"
on the monitor but a bit more difficult on the DVD recording. The
middle position is the best one whilst the two extremes may be a
little out in position as it was a bit difficult to see where the
trail of each exposure ended. The track angle is what I expected it
to be. It showed slight variability.
Cheers
Greg
