I have my doubts, but USSTRATCOM is predicting that 26897 2001-037F will decay
while southbound over S. Africa on 2004 Dec 28 at 22:42 UTC, as appended. The
track passes near Greg Roberts.
I suspect the object will begin to decay a bit later, near 23:07 UTC, as it
approaches the equator northbound.
In any case, it is worth a look at the ground track to see whether or not it
passes you. There are also N. American passes, which might be worth checking.
