Dear List, Beautiful clear evening (for a change). While waiting for a predicted flare from Iridium 22, a bright flash appeared (very roughly) about 20 degrees to the north of the predicted flare location, about a minute early, but along approximately the same predicted northward track. Sorry not to note the exact time, using my phone for a watch. After iridium 22 performed it's spectacular predicted -8 mag flare (Thanks Chris Peat!) it stayed visible for a while, then it flared up again at the roughly the same location of the earlier flash, for a nice double flare. Was the earlier flash from another Iridium "traveling with" Iridium 22?
