In IOD format:

24690 96 072A   8597 G 20031213122711400 27 25 0644900-515500 48 S+050 05

The second position which was probably technically in shadow, the object
was fading from about a mag -2 " flare" . Magnitude estimated by comparison
with Rigel ( Beta Orionis) which was nearby.
These positions are about 50- 56 seconds early on the elset used for
generating the predictions. Checked with Findsat and found no other
ojects within 2 degrees and 90 seconds.
