Strangely enough, the previous conclusions haven't changed much: one orbit prior to Venus' "greatest transit," India may be a good place to observe both the transit of Venus and a transit of the ISS. On the next orbit- nearer the greatest transit- South Africa currently looks promising. On the orbit after that, Iraq is a possibility (if you don't mind having RPGs launched at you- maybe you could get Venus & the ISS & an RPG all silhouetted against the sun at the same time). It still doesn't look good for Europe. http://iss-transit.sourceforge.net/IssVenusTransit.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
