There is a report, "Spectacular Double Flare", on the newsgroup: sci.astro.satellites.visual-observe of very bright negative magnitude flares of a pair of satellites that were traveling together. The writer ruled out Iridium flares and asked for ID. With the information given, they are a very good match with USA 160 (A) and (C) (26905 and 26907, 01-040A and 01-040C), and I hope I get to see such an event myself!
