One of the geo sats lost was going to be used to test technology for future satellites, so no satellite tv with it. Satallite tv has one advantage, yoy can travel with it. Just set up the dish, point it towards the right satellite, and with any luck tv. Here's a list of upcoming launches with a geo sat on board. I be watching for the one's, which are going to a orbital slot so I can spot them. What can I say - I like watching the geo sats:) Dates subject to change Dec 17 - NSS 6 ( 95 degrees East ) Dec 30 - Nimiq ( 91 degrees West ) Jan ? - Thuraya 2 ( 44 degrees East ) Jan 21 - Milstar 2-F4 going to replace the first milstar put into orbit, I heard ( 120 degrees West ? ) Jan ? - AMC 9 ( 79 degrees West ) Feb 5 - AsiaSat 4 ( 122 degrees East ) Mar ? - Hellas Sat 2 ( 39 degrees East ) Kevin _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
