    Walter et al.:

    I have observed flashes from EGP using the unaided eye. I live in rural
    Missouri where the Milky Way is often visible from horizon to horizon, and
    the Andromeda Galaxy and Double Cluster are obvious. Here are some entries
    from my satellite observing log:

    EGP (Ajisai) - 31-Mar-02  -  16908 - JPN - Wow!!!!!  Irregular BRIGHT
    flashes. +2 +1? Changing rhythm. Watched for 3 min!

    EGP (Ajisai) - 5-Apr-02	  -  16908 - JPN - Unaided eye flashes through CMa!

    EGP (Ajisai) - 23-Sep-02  -  16908 - JPN - Great pass!  +3 -> inv; not
    unaided eye; FF_F___FF_F___ pattern; between 1 and 2 sec

    Best Regards,
