    I would have to agree.  I've had a lot of exposure to all of the Windows
    
    operating systems, up to and including XP Home and Professional
    edition.  I think that if you upgraded to XP, you would be rather
    frustrated for a time, searching for compatible drivers for your
    hardware (if they even exist), and just generally "getting around" in
    the system (this is especially true for the "Home" edition, which I bet
    you're thinking of upgrading to :-).
    
    In addition, XP is very very new, and just isn't as "stable" as the
    older systems.  My absolute favorite OS is Windows98se.  If you're happy
    
    with it, I wouldn't attempt an upgrade just yet.
