Mark,

    Rob Matson's Skymap will show varying magnitudes for Iridium satellite passes. Its
pretty accurate and I've seen quite a few flares in the 0.0 to 2.0 range.  I think this
feature is only available
in the 6.5 version, perhaps Rob will comment.
