I only have two attempts at tracking Mir in my 8" f/10. Using a 40 mm eyepiece I had trouble except using the finder then tracking in RA only. A 5 mm eyepiece would be difficult for me. I typically use the 40 mm eyepiece for tracking GEOs and new launches. On a few occasions, I switch to a 25 mm or 17 mm but 40 mm is used over 95% of the time (sat viewing and astro stuff) Ron Lee ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
