Hello Everyone.
Viewing conditions were were good this evening, even with the ambient multi-
colored lights.
USA 32 was right on time, passing over the Seven Sisters at 22:34:30 UTC.
There was, as always, some sparkling.
Iridium 65 flared to the predicted 0 mag in the south at 22:45:34 UTC. There
was no secondary flare.
ATEX/STEx passed over Perseus at 23:04:10 UTC. The magnitude was no brighter
than 6.5 and it seemed to fluctuate a little but not in any pattern. In the
southern sky the object dimmed.
The Mir passed over Altair at 23:08:45 UTC. For most of the pass it was
about a -2.5 mag. At 23:09:00 it flared to a -3.0.
Cheers
Don Gardner
