I don't understand your procedures.  For most naked eye visible sats, weekly
updates should do. Seems you're saying you make predictions, get the cat #
for predicted passes, get new elements, and make predictions again.  Is 
that so?  
For Visual sats, I update them all once a week, and that's it.
