Saw Iridium 44 in car

Hi all,

I was coming home from work when I noticed 2 flares in front
of me in the sky to the northwest. At the first one, I thought it
was the strobe of a plane. But the second one was too spaced
in time to be that.

A couple of minutes after that, I was in my living room checking
the position of ISS with STSOrbit Plus when I noticed that
Iridium 44 just made a pass. I then went into SatSpy to compute
the trajectory on the sky map and realized that what I saw was
2 flares from Iridium 44. Aprox. time was 23:05 UTC, Dec.9,
290° Az, 19° El.

Despite a wonderful clear sky, that will be my only observation
for tonight. I have some computer work to do.

Greetings !
