I learned of the re-entry sightings of Cosmos 1315 (81103A / 12903) from Joseph Remis, via the Reentrywatch mailing

Re: Robert Holdsworth's post here, it is unlikely for anything to have survived for nearly a full revolution to have
been seen from New Zealand. The report from Kelburn provides no information on the track across the sky, and the
description is insufficient to conclude it was a re-entry. No information on duration.
