The observations below, including two UNID's (one GTO and one GEO), were obtained from Ubud, Bali, during my hollidays in Indonesia: 8.51294 S, 115.26187 E Unfortunately my EF 2.8/100 mm Macro died on me this holliday, so I was forced to do these obs with a 70-300 zoom at 70 mm, F4.0: a lens with a much smaller aperture. Hence, only relatively bright objects were captured. Still, three classified GEO objects and two UNID's were imaged: 25337 98 029B 0000 G 20150817153402250 17 75 1913038-098990 56 25337 98 029B 0000 G 20150817153832250 17 75 1917369-098040 56 25337 98 029B 0000 G 20150817154502250 17 75 1924086-096550 56 26635 00 080A 0000 G 20150817153532250 17 75 2034134-069640 56 26635 00 080A 0000 G 20150817154132250 17 75 2040177-069670 56 37377 11 011A 0000 G 20150817154502250 17 75 1919480-033840 56 UNID 1 (geostationary) 00000 00 000X 0000 G 20150817153532250 17 75 2038511-072910 56 00000 00 000X 0000 G 20150817154132250 17 75 2044556-072920 56 UNID 2 (GTO) 00000 00 000Y 0000 G 20150817153402250 17 75 1918223-073880 56 00000 00 000Y 0000 G 20150817153832250 17 75 1924041-073410 56 00000 00 000Y 0000 G 20150817154502250 17 75 1932153-072630 56 Strays: Raduga 1-3 22981 94 008A 0000 G 20150817153832250 17 75 1919400-151900 56 Express AM-1 28463 04 043A 0000 G 20150817154502250 17 75 1921010-023070 56 Galaxy 8 25086 97 078A 0000 G 20150817153402250 17 75 1936108-108610 56 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canon EOS 60D + EF 4.0-5.6/70-300mm, 4000 ISO + ASTRORECORD astrometric software. What these numbers mean: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two UNID's were captured. UNID 1 is geostationary and close to USA 155 (00-080A): this is likely the same object earlier reported by Sergey Guryanov in May: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/May-2015/0127.html ...and then targetted by me using the Warrumbungle telescope that same month: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/May-2015/0169.html It is very bright, like a Mentor. Approximate orbit from the 17 Aug observations: UNID 1 1 00000U 00000X 15229.65384549 0.00000000 00000-0 00000+0 0 05 2 00000 7.4239 41.4902 0000140 85.9567 184.7272 1.00270000 03 UNID 2 appears to be an object in GTO, clearly trailing on the images.
