    Hi all,

I just received this info (source INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION) :

"Discovery by Koichi Itagaki (Japan) of an apparent nova (mag 6.8) on an unfiltered CCD frame taken on Aug. 14.584 UT using a 0.18-m reflector, with confirming unfiltered images taken with a 0.60-m f/5.7 reflector on Aug. 14.750 that show the variable at mag 6.3."

The new object is located at R.A. = 20h23.5m, Decl. = +20°46' (2000.0), close to the border DEL-VUL.

This may be of interest to some of you.

    Regards

    Alain
